I Have a "BodyBugg"-That's Good for Me.

Video from 24 Hour Fitness.com

Hello Friends,

Your Not So Skinny Wedding Concierge checking in and today is a good day. I have lost 40 pounds since June 30th.

Now that's what I call a productive summer:) And yes, just for now, I am patting myself on the back.

This past Sunday, I got myself a "BodyBugg". "A what Bugg" you ask? "Tracey are you ok? do you have a flu or cold?"

LOL, yes I am doing great and not sick at all and a "BodyBugg" is a calorie management system that I got at my 24 Hour Fitness Club (who endorse the product as well) that I wear as an armband on my arm. By using special sensors, it tracks all my calories burned throughout the day (whether it's cleaning house-not that many calories there I confess or at the gym or walking or even just recreational activities).

You then upload the data with a USB cable to an online program and after I log my food intake for the day (this is where honesty counts), it shows a calorie surplus (bad) or calorie deficit (good).

I have heard great testimonials from friends and colleagues. It's over 90% accurate which is better than what I have been using so far. I'm confident it's going to be an effective tool for me if I work the program properly.

The "BodyBugg" was first featured on The Biggest Loser show a year or so ago to help the contestants with their fitness goals. Check out the video in this post for more information.

So this "Bugg" is actually helping me feel good and I'll thank my parents for this as it was a birthday gift of health.

Today I AM Feeling Healthy and Goal Oriented. What are YOU Today?
