Going Back to "Re-Educate" My Life at PSI

In December, 2009, Your Not So Skinny Wedding Concierge enrolled (and graduated from) the PSI (Personal/Professional Success Institute) Basic Seminar.

My husband, "M" had taken the 4 day intensive course back in 1999 (shortly after we met in person for the first time-we are an "Internet Romance Gone Right" you could say). Anyway, I am convinced that his experience and what he learned about himself is one of the main factors we are together today.

So you could say I was already a fan of these people. Last October, my step-daughters "S" & "G" were signed up for the course (yes, "M" kind of tricked each one to go for the benefit of the other, but it worked and he apologized for that to them). But, it was just as enlightening and powerful for them.

Needless to say, when I got to attend the graduation of "S" & "G", It was my turn to sign up for this and to say that by this point, I WAS SO READY! You might have wondered what took me so long (ahem, 10 years) to get the hint and go, but I think every person needs their moment when they are ready to take on personal growth. This was mine.

That weekend was an amazing experience for me and I did have one incredibly HUGE light bulb moment about how I react to people, situations, consequences. My experience, you could say was a very small step to where I started almost a month ago. I didn't know that, but it was. I had a lot more to deal with which I did well (and some not so well at all).

Here is the BEST long term benefit about being a PSI Basic Seminar graduate. Once you do, you can take this 4 day seminar again, in whole or in part, any time and anywhere in THE WORLD it is offered for the rest of your life. FOR FREE!! Now that is what I call serious ROI.

There are a few rules when you "re-audit" the seminar but nothing that gets in the way of experiencing it again anew (and it always is each time I hear). So this weekend, July 8-11, I am going back to PSI school to re-educate myself and my life and get to experience this again.

I'm taking my notebook from last time so I can fill it up with the new version of my experiences and I'm sure it will be interesting to compare notes from last year; what has changed, what remains the same, what new goals I need to set and work on.

It's going to be a great weekend and...
